I think it is bad precedence to respond to rumors on internet chat boards. If there was evidence that was presented, rather than hearsay, then I would expect the company to respond with their version of the truth. Right now, this is just outright BS as far as I'm concerned. I seriously doubt anyone in a responsible position at MDA would give that kind of information out about an active trial, to some complete stranger on the phone no-less.

I think you have it backward. The medical professionals involved in the trial have reported the outcomes at the presentation, as the data came from Dr. Subbiah's team, and was delivered by the Chief Scientific officer of the company, Dr. Marnix Bosch and they were quite positive. People who had no business commenting on the trial, just like Buzdar, who was also wrong and made nonfactual statements, and may have no access to the data at all are rumored to have answered questions that it is highly unlikely they would have answered. The intense efforts to manipulate the stock by hedge funds is reason enough not to lay every detail out on the table, as well as the need to let the data mature fully.

I am going with what I see happening with Allan and other case reports we have heard more information about.

If you want NWBO to answer, create an account and post an article on Seeking Alpha covering the controversy.

Don't bash or defend NWBO, just report what is being alleged and that people are alleging it.

Then have someone call both MD Anderson and NWBO to ask about the information in the article.

This does seem rather shady but like it or not, modern journalistic standards allow you to report on what someone else has said, without having to go and verify the veracity or falsehood of what is being alleged.

For example, Harry Reid alleged, without evidence, on the Senate floor that Mitt Romney did not pay his taxes.

Rather than ignore the story until they investigated or at least ask Mr. Reid for his evidence to back up this serious allegation, the media by and large reported Mr. Reid's words as straight news rather than unsupported slander.

Incidentally, Harry Reid admitted (on camera) several years later that he had knowingly lied about Romney's taxes but defended his actions by saying "He didn't win, did he?"
