money/wealth and power, money/wealth as power -- an ancient theme, a continuing reality, certainly at least seems pretty damned well inevitable/inherent, somehow or other, as we organize into larger societies -- in any given system, boils down to how the system manages that, or not, to what the deal is for everybody else, whether that works at least well enough at some level, is continuingly practically sustainable/enforceable, or not

the sheer and increasing concentration of money/wealth, and of the corresponding power, being of course quite clearly out of control in this time, trending toward (further/increasing) dysfunction and instability, here and elsewhere, but here as one instance in particular
