DannyJoe: I agree. Those are the same concerns that I have.

Or, NeoMedia Technologies could earn huge amounts of profitable revenue, and thus make the P/E reasonable, even with alot of shares (five billion is only the available shares, remember).

It may be hard to see now, but there may be thousands of brands waiting for the launch of a ubiquitous PaperClick. That is how I would have set it up, before the launch, if I were mamagement. Pay when everyone else does, a worldwide launch. Don't be a big brand with a disappointing barcode - when the clicking begins!

Would be just great, eh?

DJ: I don't know that one can assume that the gorillas have passed on Neom, and hence they went the acquisition route. As long as they have one gorilla, be that News Corp, Yahoo, etc....I wouldn't think they'd want to partner with more than one gorilla. Mobile is a huge pie and Neom seems incredibly well situated with their patents and the current technology that is widely available and accessible. I believe there was an article in the WSJ just Thursday or Friday discussing Google's and Microsoft's interest in some type of search-related alliance with News Corp/Myspace.

Those acquisitions make them all the more attractive as not only a partner, but, for all the brands that will want to go with the one-stop, international mobile company. As they said, Europe was happening first, and if someone else scooped up those companies, that could have weakened their business plan implementation and future market share.

I believe that all these test sites for PC are real as large well-known companies would not be happy or allow any company using their names and logos in a test site without their express permission and plans for future use.....aimho

...and, in about a month, perhaps we won't have to speculate any more???

Hi DannyJoe: I would like to think that NEOM would do what you said--buy back. I just have a hard time thinking in terms of "billions" of shares and why they need so many. Makes my amount seem awfully small if that happens. They may not use them, but if they're approved they are still in play so to speak(can be used whenever). I wonder what the OS is for a company like MSFT. Someone may have commented about that a while ago.

If NEOM turns into a big money maker then I guess we have nothing to worry about. I am also not ready to say a big gorilla isn't lurking around still. This tech is too cutting edge(and becoming more mainstream everyday) for the big guys not to be paying attention to all the players. I will be happy to get rid of Cornell too, like MOBL did. JMO. Cj

I too am concerned about the 1 billion shares and the amount of income required to raise the share price.
