But if Ekwan-X was going to be a success, why would he not want to go out and "pick the money off of the trees"? Why wait?

I mean, if I knew I could make a fortune at something, anything, why would I spend my time at the mall and not on the project that was going to make me rich?

If I knew of trees that had money growing on them, why would I spend all my time indoors?

If he has a winner he'd be consummed with that project.

So apparently he feels he has little or no chance at developing a winner.
