Why couldn't he just admit HE owns the patent and not MYEC?

Ed Starrs: There are a large number of strategic purposes to have Intellectual property held outside of the operating entity. I invented the technology and applied for the patent, MyECheck didn't pay me to do that, nor have they paid me any compensation for the revenue generated from patent. I gave MyECheck exclusive rights to the patent. This has always been the case since the patent was issued, and these "questions" you refer to I think are just an attempt to drive the stock price lower.
