#33319 RE: Shail #33318

Shail...You're probably right about "FMV" for APDN but whatever code name you want to apply for legitimate valuation for the stock is fine by me. All I am trying to determine for myself is what is the true worth for this stock.

As long as this company is struggling to become profitable, I label it as in the developmental stage. However, this is simply semantics. Again, call it what you want, but the name that is applied doesn't impact on my personal investing strategy.

All that you have mentioned about more contracts, better revenues, and lessening operative expenses are reasons why I think this stock is better valued now than when it was at 9 cents before. On the other hand, I think a lot of us would agree that 29 cents was a sign of irrational exuberance and that the stock should have never gone that high before.

You ask questions relating stock value and company worth. It is my opinion that these two things are incongruous. I wouldn't be buying the stock now if I felt that its stock was a reflection on the health and worth of the company. So you ask whether this disparity is because we are being failed by management. To that I think not, but I really can't defend management much more than this. Bottom line, I never invest into any company where I think it is being mismanaged or untrustworthy. Although there are many carping about this very thing on this board, I don't agree with their sentiments. I believe that this has been a very slow process but I don't fault management for this. Yes, management has a fiduciary responsibility to protect stock value, but I can't say whether they should have been more forthcoming or transparent with their affairs than they have. If I found out that they were being purposely opaque about things they could have disclosed, then this would be a valid reason for criticism, but at this time I trust that they have been as open as they could have been.

I am a long term investor. I believe this stock will be at a higher value a year from now than where it currently sits and that is why I have slowly boosted my holdings of late. GLTY.
