Like you, I have some faith when HG says IDCC has 'essential patents in all five standards.'

Howard also said, "Our patents are concerned with the air interface. I would argue if you try to make a weighted evaluation, that the air interface is one of the most lucrative aspects of the whole system, it is the engine and the transmission driving the system."

Don't get me wrong, I love Data Rox like a brother. I just happen to think that IDCC's CDMA IPR is a bit stronger and that the ability to license those rights have not been given away in past deals.
