PENNINGTON, N.J., Apr 10, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- WorldWater & Power Corp. (OTC BB:WWAT.OB), developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems, will attend the National Hurricane Conference being held in Orlando, Florida this week. Joining WorldWater & Power Corp. in the exhibition booth will be Carlyle Financial Services, Inc., an affiliate of First Southwest Company, which is providing financial programs for the acquisition of solar powered water supply and electrical power to municipal, county, state, federal and other emergency response organizations.

WorldWater & Power Corp. will be demonstrating and selling its new MobileMaxPure(TM) solar powered emergency relief unit at the National Hurricane Conference in Orlando, Florida, April 10 though April 14. This portable solar unit, already providing emergency water supply to Waveland, Mississippi after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, will pump and purify 30,000 gallons/day of drinking water, deliver emergency electric power and provide worldwide satellite voice and data communication. First Southwest Financial Company will offer lease financing for this unit to government entities and other NGO agencies involved in emergency relief nationwide.
