She gave me the tracking number for my cert which should be sent out this week.
If she gave you a tracking number it means that the company already paid for the postage and printed out the label. There is no reason that if what she told you is correct that it should not be mailed by tomorrow.
Were you told if it was to be sent via Registered Mail, Express Mail or Priority Mail?
I believe that once the certificate is delivered, you will be able to determine when the tracking number was first determined (when the postage was paid). When you update the forum after receiving your certificate, it would be interesting if you reviewed your tracking number to see when it was issued and shared that information as well.
I wonder if the tracking number you were given today will prove to be the actual tracking number used. Have you tried looking it up to see if it is in the USPS system yet?
Peter , at time of OSP ship closure in last weeks, also received fake tracking numbers for fake payments of crew wages wire transfers.
This was in papers and also confirmed in ITF maritime union allegations. Also ex -CFO heard peter admit and talk about it at that time...stating who else would do it
IMO, cert tracking is. Probably fake to buy time for some reason.
