ALSO, in addition to this factual post, Cotara is NOT Radiation. Cotara is a guided missle antibody, DNA Histones from the necrotic core of tumors the target.
Cotara is currently armed with a radio-isotope to kill GBM tumors from the inside out with minimal damage to surrounding healthy tissue. While on its' way to approval the NIH switched(there's that word again) the delivery catheter so PPHM had to re-run the Phase II. Bavituximabs Market Potential outweighs Cotara by many multiples and that is why Cotara has been put on the back burner.....it's still warm IMHO.....
I believe Armed Cotara could be the
"Bunker Buster" for larger tumors while Bavituximab is the boots on the ground (ground being cellular membrane and mircrovesicles) to turn on the locals(macrophage and dendritics)to clean up the environment.
