youre welcome ou71764. if there is good news , im treating myself to a huge steak and a few ice cold draft beers because I would damn sure deserve it. the next day ill eat a few vegetables. its true that diet and exercise go a long way in preventing cancer in the first place. a few rare people have the right genes and they can eat drink and smoke. the rest of us have to work like hell to make it to old age.

OU,
speaking about eliminating sugar & saturated fats and eating veggies & fruits, I was dying 3 years ago, I am 5'8" and weighed 159 lbs 3 years ago, within 6 mos down to 115 lbs and jaundice, bilirubin at approx 4.0 with my hair turning white and falling out with infections in my nose and mouth that wouldn't go away, liver enzymes high etc etc. They were about to hospitalize me for intravenous feeding if I lost another lb. My general practioner kicked me out of his practice and gastro wouldn't return my frantic calls that something is wrong and I think it has to do with the Prilosec that he prescribed along with inflating a balloon in my esophagus because it was too narrow. He said I had esophagalits and gastritis etc.

So I saw a phenom Naturopath who put me on a new diet with a ffew supplements, a vegan diet with no eggs or fats except for a teaspoon of nuts or seed 3 x a day, no wheat only home made gluten free bread milled fresh and no sugar except what is in a small amount of fruit and a ton of veggies and grains and beans every day plus a green smoothie of my own wacky concoction. My bp at the time was 150/85 and my chol was 300+.

I am now cured, my bp is 99/58, chol 150 and I have gained 30 lbs back. Not easy to gain weight on this type of diet but I am. My goal is 150 lbs so at least I will resemble my old self. I am in the best shape of my life at 58 and I was a great athlete long ago.

Everyone needs to do this for their own good and have no processed anything. But very few will because they are indoctrinated into the American Western Diet and that therein lies the problem and it is a serious one.

It doesn't have to be all or most of your investment. But take a small piece off the table. Use it to buy a 2nd stock with a potential breakthrough therapy in a different disease. -- Ou.

Right on!

I'm especially reminded of the importance of "quality" food being in France. The food here is so different, cleaner, healthier than it is in the states. We are in Cannes now, had an amazing dinner again last night and I told my wife, I don't feel heavy or inflamed after meals here in France. Proper gut function is the KEY to overall health! What we ingest, how our body processes and assimilates and then delivers the nutrients is what dictates our health. Leaky Gut Syndrome is so prevalent in the states it's scary. Anyway, needless to say, not only have we thoroughly been enjoying the food here but the wine is pretty damn good too:-) U need those antioxidants right?:-)

ou - Regarding:

We're getting news on Direct shortly, hopefully DCVax-L too. If we get good news, as I expect - all I suggest is that those that are extremely over weighted in the stock - take something off the table. It doesn't have to be all or most of your investment. But take a small piece off the table. Use it to buy a 2nd stock with a potential breakthrough therapy in a different disease.

With good news, I think the dynamics change, so I don't think the immediate reaction would be to sell some stock. I agree if one is over-allocated and the SP goes up without news. Then yes, sell some, but if NWBO presents 2 more case studies of different cancers and patients showing tumor necrosis and systemic tumor regression, then NWBO just became a different type of investment and justifies a larger allocation within my portfolio, IMO. The concept being that if my allocation goal is 5% extremely speculative, 15% speculative, 20% small cap growth, and 60% mid/large equities, for example, then NWBO just moved into a speculative category for a 3X larger allocation. So where, I may have been overallocated originally, with good news that may no longer be the case. If we get guidance on German revenues this year, then it could even move into the small cap growth category. Of course this is a very subjective matter.
