Prior to Safeco being built in SODO, there was a group of us actively campaigning for a site in Bellevue. It would have been safer, easier access, better parking. But no...we couldn't convince the powers that be of this. I know a couple of the developers and *now* they admit that with the team not doing well, people are actively avoiding the area with all of it's hassles.

That said, my oldest boy got he and I tickets for a Yankee game for my Mother's Day present. He said, "Last chance to see Jeter and probably Ichiro. We'll meet in Redmond and take the bus!

I don't blame you. I know I would go to some Braves games and if you didn't get out of there within 30 minutes at night you would be asking for trouble. I think you will see stadiums within a mini 6 Flags type park so more revenue can be obtained by the clubs year-round. This will require many acres of land and thus another reason to move to the burbs.
