For the PR, I'd do it at ASCO. For us, I wish they'd release now. But if you didn't have to, I'd do it then.

But L is a separate story, right?

If did it immediately, tomorrow that is May 15 then the cat would be out of the bag and the ASCO convention would be more of a non-event because everyone would already know unless you did it in pieces, maybe starting tomorrow and releasing another in a week and then the rest at the show's beginning. I always thought that Ms Powers should do it this way and hopefully she can and will.

If she waits the pps will go down for no reason again, right now their is upward momentum and I believe she should take advantage of anything that she can.

It is clearly a full on TPS/TIP. No data except enrollment and encouraging statements. I think this means we will have to wait until after the poster session. Linda certainly made it sound like their abstract had been selected unusually early based upon (insinuated) early sparse data. There is a provision for this, and so I took her insinuation to mean this.

In fact, there was nothing strange at all in being accepted to ASCO. A full on TIP/TPS simply is an opportunity to share information about interesting trials that are happening. It is not an opportunity to share significant data and is limited to methods and the like.

I'd like the sun to come out tomorrow, but the reality is, there was nothing special about getting into ASCO under this abstract form.

The sun will come out in 2 weeks, so we better hear something tomorrow for my sanity.

A PR would likely be sooner than later.
The reason for publishing the sessions 2 weeks early is so that the attendees can plan their sessions for the event.
If attendees are planning now, NW & LP would want any information they can divulge out there, so that when the attendees are making up their minds and creating the session plans they'll say "I'VE GOT TO SEE NWBIO AFTER WHAT I JUST FOUND OUT IN THAT PR THIS MORNING."

If they have a PR during the event, many would already have their days mapped out & might not attend or hear soon enough.

So, if your Linda, the sooner the better. Get the news out and Let's Roll!
