As for my "true colors" I owned a little Fannie and Freddie back in the day (out by '03 or '04) and have done various deals around agency MBS before and since, as well as other housing market interests. I understood the businesses and legal issues then, so I have a sense of history for these companies that today's shareholders are completely missing. You don't understand 2008 and 2012 because you never understood the companies in the first place.
