There are far less "physical limits" then there are profits to be made by artificial scarcity.
Then who would you have us believe? The people trying to sell you all this bullshit about unlimited availability, or the people who work with protocols and packet handling, IT and equipment and installers who know better.
I sure don't go with TV manufacturers or Netflix. The content sellers don't exactly agree with the network builders. Sorry.
