OT: Have 2 hrs to spare? I happened on the award ceremony for the 3 people given the TED prizes this year in Monterey. Felt like a kid who snuck into a movie for only big people when he shouldn't be there. Was a snippit of what JF was possibly able to see if he was in fact at the TED Conference.

Go to www.ted.com and down in the right corner there is a link to watch the award ceremony. The awards went to a Cameron Sinclair, who I'll call an architectural designer, Jehane Noujaim, a woman photographer, and Dr. Larry Brilliant who is trying his damndest to stop pandemics. In addition to $100,000 each, and a trophy, they were to bring one wish to the conference for the betterment of the world. They then presented these wishes before the participants who are the movers and shakers and are used to getting things done. If you take the time to watch the show you may not want me to write down their wishes so I'll hold off on that. The winners presentations of why their wish is important were excellent. Oh, after the first 30 or so minute segment is up the screen seems to just freeze and nothing comes on to tell you to go back and re-enter on the second part.
