WalldogO, Your reasoning makes sense. As I had said, I do not think that the 'backdoor' senerio was credible but it never hurts to throw ideas at the wall and see what sticks.
We would think that Offor would have a stronger urge to pursue more of these deals going forward...and that could only be done if these deals turn out good for all investors. The first time investors got screwed by another Nigerian scam the game would be over and his credibility would be shot...along with any future credibility of any Nigerian enterprise requiring investors. The problem is...do they care? In this case, surely they would because it involves more than just shareholders...it involves overall world opinions. It would be crippling to screw that up over a couple billion dollars.
