Lu's network of companies looks like a spider web. All hiding funds from - shareholders?, Chinese IRS?, US IRS? It is like a thriller movie, full of paranoia and shady business. With the communist party not wanting the elite to flash cash, it has become a Chinese habit to hide money in little obscure places. Lu is in good company it seems.
As far as I know GE never delivered any gearboxes, so I can't imagine they will be compensated for the full value of a product they never made. A fine for breach of contract, yes, but within reason. Why would a HK judge award GE 360 million, it seems very unlikely...
