McGahey, and god bless his rube-ish soul, must have developed those public relations skills at the ever-laudable TBA. I'm not sure anyone will ever mistake a roundtable of Shade, Williams, Perler and McGahey for a MENSA convention, but who am I to judge. All they needed to round out the starting 5 of scam was good ol' Rico himself, but I hear he was traded to another team long ago.

You failed to account for one glaring factor, of course, which is the gov's interest in "regulating" this industry via the SEC and DOJ. This pushes a few more political hot-buttons than previous penny-land ventures, not to mention all the interest the Belfortian himself has recently drummed up. Put 2 and 2 together and one begins to realize you rolled the wrong joint this time around.
