Exactly. Knubel knew that with the P&D team being brought in, he would be the one to sign off on the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and regular financials, as head of the audit committee. Smartly, IMO, Knubel decided not to be the fall guy or assume any liability for the P&G crew, so he vamoosed.

Wisely following the lead of Malcolm who fled like a scalded cat.

Now the audit committee is headed by a guy related to IPIX, a classic P&D scam and subject of talk about class action suits.

Knubel made a smart move to distance himself from this.

Malcolm is just running like hell (as he should).
