I now know the answer to the question I raised.

TIME is needed ... so that two, seemingly separate transactions will not be telescoped into one; with disastrous tax consequences.

As is more often the case ... "silence is golden".

I will therefore act accordingly and move on to research some other EXCELLENT trade.
