Interesting reading, Flipper. It reinforces how formidable a foe that cancer is, given its ability to fool the immune response. I can see now why chemo has been the drug of choice for so long - chemo can't be deceived by cancer because it isn't looking for cancer - it kills everything. Unfortunately that lack of discretion is also why chemo eventually poisons the patient.

There are some very encouraging things in the filing. You don't file a patent for something you think will fail. But investors still have to tread cautiously. The game isn't played on paper. The trial may or may not come out as expected. One section that you highlighted says, in part:

"It has now become apparent that DC maturation can result in either immunostimulatory or immunosuppressive DCs...The precise nature of the maturation stimuli that produce either outcome has not been elucidated..."

I understand that the next section makes it clear that they think they have the timing resolved (slay the fatted calf!) Time will tell.

The mice results notwithstanding, the reason to be optimistic is the Triozzi study. Now that I've time to reflect on it for a few days, I understand why you questioned of how anyone could sit on that for so long. If we see those results in the Direct trial - and we very well could - then NWBO will be both the talk of the medical community and Wall Street.
