My opinion is that it was too late to be cost effective for marketing the commercials in early Dec. Perhaps the prices changed. I know that the retail industry (led by JCP) gave some of the most record discounts in the history of the holiday season killing profit margins. At the time Bravada did not have the money to try and compete with the with the other major retailers for marketing market share (TV spots).

I believe he may have made a decisions to wait until after the holidays where the advertising would be more cost effective. Commercials need to be viewed over and over for them to be effective. If the company can run 5 spots in January for the price of one 1 spot in Dec then I say Bravada should do that (for the long term success of the business). That is my opinion of what happened. Is this lack of follow though? Is this a business decision for more cost effective advertising? Is it a change of direction? I don't know because it is speculation anyway.

As far as Danny's reason?

I have no idea but that is my guess. Understand because I have active bids on the stock Danny and I can not talk about Bravada material information.
