Thanks for the response.

Do you believe Facebook could have grown to be what it is today if Mark had worked alone?

I think the concept of facebook is simple for all people to understand and then also to use, free of charge, that there just wasn't many obstacles in Mark Z's way, he just needed to get lucky and meet the right person(s) who could expand what he created... and obviously he did get lucky and meet the right people.

In this case we know it goes beyond just meeting the right people, you will also have to some serious advertising plans aimed at explaining to this market how you are going to change it. I think that will be the biggest obstacle... explaining why it's needed. but i have limited information and am actually still doing my DD on everything public startup offers the market.

Also, not trying to go too far off topic I read a really good book by BJ Mendelson called Social Media is Bullsh*t... its #1 best seller (not that that means anything), but also, he is now a leading voice for internet marketing, and just marketing a business (big business or small) in general. Have you heard of him? His ideas and approach are cost effective and brilliant IMO. If you read the book and then want to reach out to him, I know he is very open to answering questions for free, he doesn't charge a fee or even advertise a service, but i know people who reach out to him get great responses. He does help companies for a fee, if his service is requested. He's everywhere... the news, guest-speaking, debates, etc. I think it's important in the social media world we live in to hear what this guy has to say, i think it'll save any company money that may be about to go down the drain.

That's just a tip lol, a little off topic yeah, but just a tip!
