Corp: I would hazard a guess, but from what I understand, In Asia and other areas, personal relationships are a very important part of the business scene. Although we are dealing with major multi national corportions, local business practices may still require the use of commission agents to help initiate and finalize deals. The old story of not what you know but who you know.

I sincerely don't know where all these "commissions" are going to, or why they are due?
