mvpsignalsystem: Re conversation versus results

Agree. Results speak louder than words.

On my website, there's a small list of very successful CS members who DO post their recommendations ... and you never see these people posting negative comments about others. WHY? Because they're too busy being successful.

Am posting screen captures of their curent recommendations below.

One CS member that I wish was on this list is "anthonytsai" who use to frequent the CS QQQQ board ... and also briefly showed up here back in August when we all migrated over here. Anthony DOUBLED his money in 2005 ... just as he did the year before. Unfortunately, he doesn't keep an updated CS Recs list. He's working on his masters or doctors degree in the medical field.

One thing to keep in mind for those here who like to include snipes and attacks in their posts ... ANTHONY BRIEFLY SHOWED UP HERE AND LEFT BECAUSE HE DIDN'T LIKE HAVING TO READ POSTS WHERE PEOPLE ATTACK OTHERS. I could provide a link to his last post mentioning this but it would take me awhile to find it.

ps: I THINK those of you who include snipes & attacks in your posts know who you are? Maybe not. BUT, the rest of us sure do.

Re conversation versus results

The following is a generic comment regarding infighting either here or Clearstation.

Who said what and who is wrong or right is useless. If anyone wants to prove their abilities and highly minimize conversation, they can document what they do in various ways.

Granted it is brutally hard to document day-trading but most of the conversation on this board and Clearstation is ‘not’ daytrading.

So, putting aside daytrading and concentrating on multi-day to week to month results, one could easily utilize Clearstations rec list to provide a record and eliminate who said what discussion.

Or, you could just make a thread of posts here where you record your buy-sell-whatever and price & date, same day as done. Thereby people could follow what you said and when and decide for themselves.

I’d favor clearstation though, less room for backtracking on your entry exit price claims.

I know I’m beating a dead horse here but this is an artificial world and one shouldn’t let ones ego get all wrapped up in ‘who said what about me’ in an online posting board.

What people do or don’t think about you here does not affect your brokerage account balance one iota.

Anyone who is truly worried about the respect level for their investing ideas should place the public recs and then encourage critics to better their publicly recorded results.

It would save a great deal of intra-mural posting combat and might make a few folks really shine. Others might find their theories to falter in real life. Regardless, a learning process for all.
