I've been thinking about ARO, AEO, ANF for a while. All seem like they'd be PE acquisition targets going forward, especially ARO/AEO because of their no debt balance sheet and overall strong reps. But, these guys have been stagnant for a little while now. Any thoughts going forward?

I'm looking for a retail stock to put some money in for the short term despite retailers stating that holiday season will be tougher and margins will be thinner.
