(VSTH), the world leader in audio and video streaming, today announced that MusicGiants, Inc. is using VitalStream's world class content delivery network to power the only high-definition music download service to feature the full digital catalogs of the major music companies. The recent multimillion-dollar infrastructure investment made by VitalStream ensures customers like MusicGiants are able to deliver the high quality streams necessary to serve their clients.
MusicGiants' lossless download service (available at www.MusicGiants.com), is the first commercial music download service to offer high-definition, digital recordings from top music labels like EMI Music, SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT, Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group. MusicGiants is the only legal download service to offer all of its music encoded in Microsoft Corporation's (MFST) Windows Media Audio lossless format, reproducing music up to 1100 kbps (kilobits per second), delivering the sound quality of the original CD.
