A fairly large group of mostly newbies on the Fannie board are talking about doing something at Wynn Casino, but that would not be my first choice (or second, or third). I envision a modified open mike type thing so we could put usernames to faces at the cocktail party, and organize some stuff the next day. Wouldn't it be great if Mbers could be reached and persuaded to show up? I would hope most of the elders (four year or longer posters) would show as I would like to personally thank some of them. The hard question is when to do it. Beyond that I would like to know how may are coming, for obvious reasons. I'm assured I can get great room rates at any of the MGM family casinos. I would also advocate inviting some of the political 'players' in this saga as speakers, but I agree that this function should be held after the smoke of confusion clears somewhat..
