An open letter to Tiger, Big Papi, Andy Murray, Arian Foster, et. al....
Dear Athletic Sponsors,
Over the past two years I have followed and invested in one of the primary companies that you collectively endorse called Fuse Science.
Of course I am a grown man and fully responsible for my investment choices and decisions, but I must admit that I was greatly persuaded to invest in Fuse because I believe in YOU, and your glowing endorsements of the Fuse Science "technology". I never heard of Brian Tuffin before Fuse. I did NOT invest in this company because I believe in HIM. We shareholders are now on the precipice of losing all of our investment for reasons that many of us either cannot understand or fathom. To all of you, 25k is meaningless. It is a 3 foot putt, one at bat, one game in a tennis set, or 2 carries of the football. To many of us, 25k is a game changer. In fact, I am certain that all of you are much more concerned of your legacy, integrity, and ongoing goodwill with your fan base(s) than the monetary representation of this endorsement.
There is now some talk, (I do not know of its accuracy, admittedly) that if a recent 700k loan to the company is not repaid in short order that the shareholders will be wiped out in Fuse. I would hope that your reputation(s) will be important enough to you that you would not allow this to happen. I implore all of you to become actively involved in this company, to the extent that contracts will allow, and effect some change in this ongoing concern before it is too late. Again, many of us are here because of YOU,... not the company, the management team, or even the products in some cases (although it should be stated that I do believe in the efficacy of the products!).
Winter is a "down time" for many of you in your respective sports and appearances. Please take the time to get involved and do what you can do, as endorsers are expected to do. And lastly, do NOT allow this company to fail, or for the loyal fans and shareholders to be wiped out, for a meager loan repayment default.
