I'd just like to remind everyone that AMD and Intel desktop product lines do not run on the same cycle. They are offset by about 1/2 life. The P4 came out when AMD still had Athlon XP. The A64 came out when Intel had Northwood out. It seems that the next gen from AMD should come around when the Intel NGA is 1 to 1.5 years into its life. No reason to expect it any sooner.
