As I said, Ken makes a good move going into Oregon.
Remember the old saying "GO WEST, YOUNG MEN."
That's during the GOLD RUSH DAYS. Still true today for gold mining.
There are lots of virgin land that have never been explored for gold b/c gold was cheap after the GOLD RUSH DAYS and other better jobs were available then.
Later, too much environmental obstacles & requirements for mining companies to deal with.
That's why the slow down of the gold rush in the West. Now gold is worth alot more, and mine workers get real good pay.
There's a 50/50 chance that Ken will make it good.
