I agree early Fall is usually strong, but we have not reached that point yet. The strength is from retail jewelry demand for Christmas, and retail sales in general are beginning to worry some people. One could call this a conflict of two cyclic situations, and generally the longer cycle ultimately wins. In this case, perhaps the demand is postponed until the last minute.

Ours is not to reason why......
but just to watch the patterns diligently.
