Would appreciate discussion from oil veterans regarding how difficult they feel it will be for ADDAX to develop the expertise to handle the deepwater drilling in JDZ. Also, does Pioneer already have the expertise for Block 2?
Where are the major problems encountered (initial drilling,
completing the well, setting up the FPSO, etc.) ?
I hope that with the amount of oil the consortium is hoping to find that they could hire some pretty top notch outfits to get us up and running. Is this a far-fetched hope or pretty attainable? Is this type of expertise able to be had for a price or do they work for a percentage of the lease?
Nice to be talking about operational questions instead of just worrying about signing PSC's.
