In Texas, as in most Southern states, Superior court Judges and lesser court are elected by the people. Not Federal Judges, that generally serve for life or until they are ousted by a new regime in the whitehouse.
I am surprised and startled to learn that all here did not know that Keel was defeated for election. He served out a term to which another fellow was elected, I believe.
Keels error in my estimation is that he did not just pick up and read the APA, and tell the Sunsabiches to do what the thing said.. go ahead and distribute the shares. That was what the DA action was supposed to accomplish, among other trifling things, none of which was completed.. The DA never even got to the discovery phase.
Of course, the LOCH creditors had to be first satisfied, but the Gude Jedge could have seen to that as easily as he did in all the stuff with the Class Action case.
But all that is water under the bridge, the Plaintiffs and Lawyers have been paid, and the LOCH stock owned by the rest watered down so badly as to be virtually worthless.
Only the KMART fiasco screwed the shareholders any worse than did the LOCHCDEXCEXI share distribution...that I know about, anyway. There are others maybe worse.. but not in my recollection.
But I can tell you this..if the CDEX bunch sells out, you shareholders are likely to be totally screwed even worse.
Don't think that they cannot do it. They can sell their personal
shares, as they have registered to do, then go bankrupt. KMART did it..why not CDEX??
