I think that the yield is of minor importance to SIAF regarding the bond. If they pay 8%pa or 18%pa in two years time does not have any significant effect on earnings.

Difference is 16 musd * 10% is 1,6 musd per year.

Who cares? Compare to further dilution of 40.000.000 shares!
