Won't work. Last time this went around, both smooth and wbmw were thoroughly convinced that almost no notebooks had wireless, Intel made the market. I dug out market data and everything, they agreed between themselves that I was wrong.

Well, I won't go there. There was wireless, but Intel got the nod b/c of the "Centrino" marketing program AND low power for both the chip and the PM (it does enable one to even visit the local Starbucks hot spot, no?). However, (and I REPEAT again), the market was also ready for this transition. If you understand marketing you know that the market has to be ready. What I'm saying is that IF the market is ready for the "home computer" transition, it MIGHT happen. There's a lot of variables. For one, we are still on the upslope of broadband acceptance which has to happen before video and other high speed downloads.
