Jagster-I will donate $100 toward a trip
by you... to go up there and meet with Prince
George city council.
Here is the (very simple) process to get on the Agenda:
(Please note how you are supposed to address the mayor)

Appearing before Prince George Council

There are many instances in which people wish to come before Council to raise concerns or address issues they feel are of importance to the community. Such an appearance before Council is called being a “delegation”.

People wishing to make such an appearance must submit their request in writing to:

City Clerk, City of Prince George
1100 Patricia Boulevard
Prince George, BC V2L 3V9
Phone: 561-7605
Fax: 561-0183
Email: cityclerk@city.pg.bc.ca

A brief letter stating a desire to appear at a Council meeting, outlining the topic to be addressed, must be received by the Clerk by 4 p.m. on the Tuesday preceding the meeting specified. Any written material that is intended to be presented to Council should accompany the letter. Anyone bringing material to the meeting for presentation to individual members of Council should bring 23 copies, so that copies will be available for each member of Council and senior staff, as well as the media regularly in attendance.

The agenda is set each Wednesday morning prior to the Council meeting in question. People asking to send delegations before Council will be advised of the status of their request as soon as possible, generally Wednesday afternoon after the conclusion of the agenda setting meeting.

Audio-visual material is available in Council Chambers for the use of delegations. Contact the Clerk's Office for more information.
At the Meeting

Once you have been granted a delegation before Council, you will be taking part in a formal occasion at which Council conducts the official business of the City. As such, a high level of decorum is expected, both of the delegates before Council and of members of Council and senior staff in attendance.

The Mayor (or Acting Mayor) is the chairperson of the meeting, and all comments are to be directed to the chairperson. It is appropriate to address the chairperson as Your Worship or Mayor Kinsley (or the appropriate name of the Acting Mayor). If you have an occasion to address others in Chambers, it is appropriate to address them as Councillor ____ or, if addressing staff, Mr. or Ms. _______.

There is a 10-minute time limit for delegations to make their presentations. Council has a limited time to conduct its business so the time limit will be enforced. As well, please be aware that Council has the opportunity to ask questions of any delegation after the presentation is concluded.
