The judge has gone to the whip for the stretch run. I believe we will still see a settlement. The recent rulings are a statement that there is value in "peace with honor" and consequences in the woodshed out back for those that want to continue the fight. He has even pointed his finger at the LU lawyers and this will get some squirming started. He is not letting any of the parties off with a continuance for cure. Both sets of lawyers know that he means business. Just in case the hidden documents do not exonerate LU on its non-infringement claims, LU and its lawyers are aware that a potential disaster could occur via damages. LU will have to be extremely confident to proceed to trial.

Stay tuned, Judge Ward is just warming up. I hope that he has his meeting with the players this afternoon with his "this is how I see it and what I would do" bedtime story before trial tomorrow.
