LOL, was sorta an inside joke from prior comments. TA has value as well as FA. Realistically neither really move stocks, buyers and sellers do.
News, events, earnings, etc will move the buyers/sellers (I suppose that would be considered fundamental) TA will "track" that. But I am also talking the near term larger % price swings, not buy and hold based on fundies.
There may be subtle hints as to what is forthcoming via TA. Having a decent or at least mildly familiar backgound on the fundamnetals is normally a plus, but can sometimes mislead ones decisions and create emotion in the near term.
I prefer to be unattached and in and out in liquid markets. (trade the "micro charts")
Apparently IBD's "crystal ball" is their letter coded sytem, havn't read it as of lately.
