Everyone is waiting for validation. Does G2 solve the 2 billion dollar problems? When will it be ready?

I think you will see the share price firm up as soon as the bugs are fixed on the site. The stock buyback is telling the investing community "we think the share price is cheap here and feel at these levels is represents a great investment".

The real share price appreciation will come when they announce their first revenue generating deal for G2. On the conference call the CEO stated they expected revenues from the current version of G2 (not the server/ecommerce encoder version) by year end.

My guess is that the market research companies that are already using old Clipstream, will be the first clients for G2. It makes sense that they would switch to the new version. Having a non-Java version of Clipstream allows DSNY to attract some other very big market research firms as well.

Take a look at the potential clients. A PR with one of these companies would certainly validate the product.
