Ok… wanted to let you guys and gals know that I did make it over to the conference preview and got some pretty good information to share with you all.

First off let me start by saying that as you walk into the convention entrance there is rather large display. It’s apprx. 30 ft long and over 10 ft tall. The first impression I got was that of amazement. I will provide a link to the photo that I took along with some video of the display. This is a very good first impression and definitely an attention getter. You’ll see what I mean.

As I made my way over to the booth…I immediately noticed the appearance and professionalism along with very well informed individuals that represent our company. The Booth is above average size and is very well laid out.

The stratephone display that Serious1 talked about is just to the left of my entry. My first conversation was with Mr. Daniyel Erdberg. He explained the steps and the setup and introduced the Stratephone to me and another interested individual. On the display counter, was a computer and a phone. The phone was connected via a router which was then connected to a linksys phone adapter. ($50 for the adapter).

He demonstrated how client companies would set up their own rules and charges for any plan that they so desire. They will have the option of setting up calls to any country and which price to charge their customers. Currently at the booth, is the ability to make any phone call to anyone in the world, not exactly sure if the switch is controlled in LA or Miami. I will ask again on Tuesday.

He shared how each company will have a customized website to fit their needs. GTE has 2 basic setups. For an individual company, set-up would be anywhere between $5000-$25,000 and the client company would buy traffic as needed, “Or” GTE will provide a Complete Solution and “PARTNER” with other companies who choose to do so. Voicemail was retrieved on line at the website via a windows media stream. (Pretty clever.)

There is a lot of detailed information about this but that’s about as straight forward as I can put the Stratephone for now. I only had 2 hours…

Now on to the Strat! I had a good long conversation with Robert Jones tonight. I have been informed that Sanswire 2 has been under construction for some time now…how long? Don’t know, but I’m happy to report that he has seen the thing fly. How high? He wouldn’t say…lol. He did also point out that they are being very cautious about what the media and public sees. He stated that there are a lot of competitors that are trying to catch a glimpse of what GTE/Sanswire is building. Therefore, things have been very active within the company but also very, very, quiet.

I’m also happy to report that they have been using the simulator for the last 2 ½ months…As a matter of fact the basic simulator is on display at the booth and I have already taken it for a test spin. It is a true simulator and is constantly being upgraded as needed in order to validate each component of the strat. Along with simulation there has been frame/tube testing as well as wind tunnel testing. Lots of things to think about when you’re getting ready to change the world. There is a lot more to building this ship than we all realize and he did state that once complete, this ship will be very safe.

Sanswire 2 is the demonstrator and Sanswire 3 will be the commercial prototype as I believe we all knew before.

Now add to that the “other” ship/ships which will be customized as needed by and for potential governmental usage.

Not much anyone can say about that, but I have learned that the demonstration will be in November. We will know about it when it’s complete. It will be shown for the purpose of a Government buyout, but keep in mind that these “other” ships are separate from the Sanswire commercial project.

And just like that…time ran out. I’m sure there is more and I do have more questions…who doesn’t? lol. I will try to get as much information as I possibly can and will get back to you all as soon as possible.

Have a great Tuesday folks… I’m leaving at 09:30 for the convention center…If there are any specific questions that I may be able to ask. Go ahead and send them to me. I’ll see what I can get answered.

Ps. now don’t overwhelm me…lol.

Test.
