Nelson is smart to sell out. That place could become a political nightmare, with Chinese and Russian companies trying to grab everything that they can get their hands on. I wouldn't want to be the ruler of Kazakstan.

This is a whacko prediction, worth of the Survey Board, but I can see China invading Russia one day to get their hands on their oilfields. If China puts nukes on satellites, what would Russia (or any other country) be able to do?

China has gone insane for oil. How terrible for people like Putin to see China getting its hands on oil in a former Social Soviet Republic of all places. Don't think the Kremlin is liking this for one minute. Mark my word, or this post, it's going to get real ugly.

The U.S. better start working on alternatives to oil, especially nuclear, real fast. Unfortunately, the U.S. is reactive, not proactive.
