Due to the large sample size in carrier (~ 650 active vs~450 PBO), they could have had stat sig effects with only a 1.6 pt difference on ADAS-COG. For the non-carrier (~300 0.5mg/kg vs. 300 1mg/kg vs. ~550 PBO), they need ~ 2.5 pt change on ADAS -COG.

Is there no provision in the SAP of the non-carrier trial to compare the combined Bapi arms to the placebo arm?
