I'm absolutely confused by this thing. Somebody, please tell me how it works. I did it the first time, didn't work.

Then, did it again, and for the last 12 times it has gotten it exactly right.

WHY?

Edit: I just noticed something. Everytime you "Try Again" the pattern on the right changes....Hmm..

Edit2: Obviously, a mathematical equation..lemme crack it.
