I don't play with a lot of money....between 500 and 700 on each play but I usually make between 10 and 20 percent on a play because I try to stick to my system and treat it as a business and take the emotions out of it....immediately after my buy order is filled I put in a stop loss for what I am willing to loose...I go into each trade asking myself how much I am willing to loose instead of how much can I make....at the price goes up I slowly begin to move my stops up...when I reach my target of between 10 and 20 percent, I sell it.....I know what you are saying.....10% on 700 is only $70.... But multiply that times 5 and you get $350 per week....$1500 per month....$18,000 per year....not too shabby, especially if you have a full time job like me and trade everyday from a mobile phone and tablet..
