I always figured it was cause the active bid and ask is pulled after hours and the spread gets wider cause the inactive MMs don't pull the real low bids and high ask . Even big board stocks I don't mess with after hours unless I get a major benefit or the GLD / price of gold . Which is looking low by the way but could go lower , lots of deflation fear right now . I have traded the GLD on the dollar , euro news cycle , and technicals . Chart broke down a week or 2 ago but anytime the fear factor will push it back up . I don't think Merkle will buy any bonds this week . Even if they do I will just average down on it again , something ALWAYS drives gold back up .
