I want Action!!!

Many thanks to Steve (post #7400) and Conrad for their thoughts and posts.

I am looking for 'ACTION" where I can tweak my AIM portfolio about once a week. Is this a reality? Obviously using my initial picks of 'QQQ' and 'DIA' I won't roll the dice often enough.

I also see on Tom's site that there are some recommended stocks that provide a little more action than the QQQ's and DIA's. True? Any suggestions from that lot?

Conrad introduced the topic of 'Vortex' so now am I to abandon 'Newport' for 'Vortex'? I have not purchased either one (yet) but I will. It would appear that Newport has been awaiting an update for a while and one can use Vortex for 30 days of free testing.

Conrad, you said "I ran a short run on DIA from September ....". What does that mean? Can you do 'what if's' and test runs using historical data with Vortex? How do you load in the historical data, by hand?

I am no stranger to software development, so maybe Vortex would be a better choice for me?

Being new to AIM, I find myself 'struggling' not understanding some of Conrad/Vortex's concepts (e.g., Resistance/Aggression). Well, that's why I'm here - to learn.
