I have no idea about the ability of the other company to gain traction and actually move into the market and it really is not a significant factor. HOWEVER....if the warranty business is in fact a viable market and the potential for earnings is legitimate... someone else WILL enter the space and if that entity is properly funded and has experienced and talented leadership they will succeed!
"First Mover" position is a good thing but it is a wasted asset unless you actually have a business in the first place! If either of these companies are positioned for or are experiencing growth.......they need to publish metrics that reflect that growth......REVENUES and NEW DISTRIBUTOR SIGN UPS!
If the company is signing up new distributors then SHs should see increased revenues.......that wil drive up SH value (PPS)!!
