For example. I like fresh Waffles (once a month) made with my deep dish waffle maker. The special powder I buy. Calls for eggs and BUTTER. I leave the butter out or just use 1/4 of the recipe. For Eggs I use Egg Beaters. I can not tell the difference.
I think your sauce calls for way too much butter. I might feel better if it was for 5 lbs.
